We’re excited to introduce our two newest board members: Jessica and Tom! 

Jessica Crosby 

Jessica Crosby is the founder of Delight Remodel & Design, where she transforms houses into beautiful, functional homes that reflect the stories of the people who live in them. With a background in design and construction, she brings both creativity and practical expertise to every project. 

Beyond her work in remodeling, Jessica is deeply committed to community impact. She is the founder of Build Up Women, a professional development and connection group, has served on the board of Redeemed, and is an active supporter of Women of Habitat Kent. In 2025, she was honored as a recipient of the West Michigan Women Brilliance Award for Tenacity, recognizing her leadership, resilience, and commitment to uplifting others. 

Jessica thrives on creativity—whether she’s designing dream spaces, building meaningful connections, or embracing new adventures with her husband, Jamie. She shares, “Home isn’t just where life happens—it’s what stabilizes it. I want to serve on the board because I believe safe, beautiful housing changes the trajectory of families for generations.” 

Tom Zeman 

Tom Zeman is a Grand Rapids and West Michigan native, having stayed close to the area when earning his degree from Western Michigan University. He now lives in Walker with his wife and two sons. 

Tom is the West Michigan Mortgage Sales Manager at Huntington Bank. His role in mortgage lending has allowed him to see the challenges of affordable homeownership firsthand, sparking his interest in being involved with Habitat Kent. 

“My passion for affordable housing is what led me to Habitat Kent and serving on the board,” Tom says. He has volunteered with us on a few occasions in the past and looks forward to helping serve the mission of Habitat in this new capacity going forward.
