How restore is making a difference
for our local families.

Since 2004 our ReStores have generated over $1 million for Habitat Kent – that’s enough to build 9 homes!

Products are sold to the general public at prices 50-70% below average retail costs.

ReStore products may be used in the construction of Habitat homes to reduce material costs.

Because of ReStore donations in Kent County, we’ve diverted nearly 8 million pounds from the landfill.

We welcome the following items for donation:

We are currently accepting:

Appliances (working or not), cabinets, doors, tile, electrical supplies, fasteners, upholstered furniture, non-upholstered furniture, hardware, housewares, lighting, lumber, plumbing supplies, tools, wallpaper, windows, and electronics (working or not)

Unfortunately, at this time we are unable to accept:

Broken furniture, dishwashers, any kind of paint, broken glass, office partitions, used carpeting, TVs/CRT monitors, tires, children’s toys or infant items, clothing/linens, curtains, entertainment centers, single-pane windows (expect antique wood framed or rolled glass)

*Each tax-deductible donation funds the construction of a Habitat for Humanity of Kent County home. ReStore depends on the generosity of homeowners, contractors and businesses for donations of new or gently used items. Donations can be dropped off during regular store hours; free pick up service is offered for large donations.
