For the past seven years, Edwin and his family, including his wife and three children, have called a small apartment home. During that time, they faced challenges, from cramped living spaces and noisy neighbors to ongoing mold issues. 

As a shift lead at a metal manufacturing factory, Edwin worked hard to provide for his family while pursuing a dream of homeownership. He wanted a better environment where his children could grow, play, and thrive. Now, that dream has become a reality. 

“Now my family is going to enjoy more space and a new place where my children can do kid things,” Edwin shared. 

Reflecting on his journey, he says, “Owning a home is a dream come true for us as a family. It has been a goal and a challenge with a lot of mixed emotions, but we thank God that we were able to get to the end, and thank you, Habitat, for helping us make our dream come true.” 

For Edwin and his family, their new home represents more than just a place to live. It is a fresh start, greater stability, and a brighter future together.
