ReStore Supervisor
We are currently seeking a full-time ReStore Supervisor to join our team in Grand Rapids. This role is responsible for overseeing the ReStore’s daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and leading the ReStore team to meet sales targets and operational goals. The ReStore Supervisor will lead by example, train and motivate staff, be responsible for employee relations, handle customer inquiries and complaints, and ensure store organization and cleanliness. The ReStore Supervisor manages inventory, maintains visual merchandising standards, and ensures that the ReStore adheres to company policies and procedures. Additionally, they are involved in scheduling, cash handling, and reporting on store performance to the Vice President of Operations.

Position Responsibilities:
- Works with and supervises team members and volunteers to complete daily tasks in a safe and timely manner.
- Provides customer service by greeting and assisting customers and responding to customer inquiries and complaints.
- Screens and accepts donated product for resale to ensure they are sellable and consistent with ReStore standards.
- Promotes sales to achieve monthly goals.
- Trains new employees to represent the store in a positive light and exhibit excellent customer service skills.
- Prepares work schedules for team members to ensure proper coverage.
- Ensures team members adhere to high standards of conduct, promptly addressing and correcting any negative behavior. Responsible for employee relations, in consultation with the VP of Operations and HR.
- Evaluates store sales and suggests ways to increase sales and improve business.
- Examines merchandise to ensure that it is correctly priced and displayed and that it functions as advertised.
- Works with volunteers and customers to ensure all questions and concerns are answered, and they have a positive experience, diffuses customer complaints using conflict resolution skills.
- Promotes the mission, vision, and core values of Habitat.
- Receives and maintains professional development training necessary to fulfill the minimum standards of the essential responsibilities, including annual training dedicated to fostering an inclusive culture, enhancing intercultural competencies, and promoting fairness and belonging for all individuals.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications:
- Three years of previous retail and supervisory experience preferred.
- Ability to train, coach, and motivate team to meet sales goals.
- Ability to maintain visual merchandising standards and store appearance.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Proficiency with cash register, inventory management software, Outlook, and basic office equipment.

Pay Range and Benefits:
Pay range: $14.89-$16.89 an hour
