A Shared Commitment to Affordable Housing

Thanks to the dedication and commitment of our Housing Champions, a special group of committed supporters, through whose efforts towards sustainable, affordable, safe housing continues to move forward in Kent County. This sustaining recurring support continues to bring people together to build homes and hope with families across Kent County neighborhoods, where we are creating new affordable housing opportunities.

These sustaining supporters work side-by-side with corporate partners like Wolverine Construction. For years, Wolverine Construction has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to positively impacting our community, generously contributing both time and financial support to Habitat Kent. Their team doesn’t just build structures; they actively invest in people and communities.

“This work matters most because it’s about people. It’s about families that have a place to call home, it’s about kids growing up in a stable environment, and it’s about communities that are better because of it.” – Kurtis Fritz, Vice President of Construction, Wolverine Construction

Wolverine Construction has been actively volunteering on Habitat builds since 2018, contributing to the completion of 79 homes through 180 donated hours. With a steadfast commitment to “Positively Impacting People and Communities”, they have been supporting affordable housing one build at a time, with equipment support, construction oversight, donated supplies, and their generous $2,500 match for the Housing Champions’ first anniversary.

Just like our Housing Champions, Wolverine Construction has been a committed supporter, sustaining our work year-round to create lasting housing solutions right here in our own community.
