Celebrating Our Volunteers: National Volunteer Week at Habitat Kent

Each April, National Volunteer Week offers a special opportunity to recognize and thank those who generously give their time, talent, voice, and support to causes they care about.

Volunteers are the heartbeat of Habitat Kent. Their dedication strengthens our community and brings us closer to a world where everyone has a decent place to live.

We kicked off the week with a Carpenter’s Club Appreciation Lunch at ReStore, honoring some of our most dedicated volunteers with food, connection, and gratitude. Throughout the week, we shared our thanks with every volunteer who served, offering tokens of appreciation.

In just one week, 111 volunteers donated 755 hours of their time. Volunteers helped frame two new homes, collect donations, organize the ReStore, and most importantly, build hope. We are truly humbled by the generosity, passion, and spirit these folks bring to every task.

If you’re inspired by the difference volunteers make and want to get involved, we’d love to hear from you! Visit our website or reach out and learn more: volunteer@habitatkent.org

Thank you, Habitat Kent volunteers — this week and always. We appreciate you!
