Celebrate 40 years of building homes, communities, and hope in Kent County!
It all started when a small group of citizens came together over their concerns about affordable housing in Grand Rapids. What began as a task force in 1982, officially became Habitat for Humanity of Grand Rapids in 1983.
This year, we celebrate 40 years of bringing together thousands more concerned citizens to work on affordable housing in Kent County. We celebrate nearly 500 Habitat homeowner families. We celebrate a community that works together to support our mission. And we celebrate the future and the many bold things we will do together.
We are so grateful to the countless supporters, past and present, who join us in our work of building a world where everyone has a decent place to live. We look forward to celebrating all year long with you!
