WEEKDAY & RETIREE VOLUNTEERS

“When I volunteer with Habitat, I feel a sense of fulfillment
and purpose. I am so grateful that I can be part of a
family’s dream to own a place they can call home.”

Become a VIP (Volunteer in Partnership) by volunteering one weekday a month

This group helps fill our largest need – regular weekday volunteers. These dedicated men and women are the core of our volunteer labor force. Some come as individuals and others come as a small group. Whatever the connection, they come together to help a hardworking Habitat family while sharing their strengths and learning new skills. Consider getting involved one of these ways:

CARPENTERS CLUB
Our construction sites offer many volunteer opportunities that may include deconstruction, framing, exterior trim, painting or trim carpentry. No experience is required! Club members volunteer at least once a month.

GARDENERS
We can always use landscape help on construction sites, A Brush With Kindness projects and in our Learning Garden. Our Master Gardeners design landscaping plans, and you can help bring them to life.

HOSPITALITY
Help volunteers feel like a valuable part of Habitat’s team by welcoming volunteers on the work site with purchased or homemade treats and lunches.

PAINTING
We always need volunteers who have that special touch with a paintbrush or roller.

RESTORE
Volunteer at one of our ReStores by helping with customer service, picking up or sorting donations, repairing or cleaning merchandise, stocking shelves or finding creative ways to use donated products.
