2008 Alumni Challenge
"I have always wanted to do this, and contributing along with my university family was the perfect opportunity! It was a wonderful experience. I most definitely will volunteer to do this again!"
Habitat for Humanity builds 20 to 25 houses each year in Kent and Eastern Ottawa Counties in order to provide homeownership opportunities for families in need of affordable housing. Here is your chance to make a difference in the lives of families and give back to the community by taking part in the 2008 Alumni Challenge Build! Active area alumni associations will be stepping up to sponsor a Habitat home through their volunteer efforts and financial support. The benefits of participating are tremendous:
- Network with other alumni, community leaders and students
- Gain excellent visibility for the alumni association and school while supporting a highly-respected charitable organization
- Make a difference in the community in which you work and play
- Flexible commitment levels for individual gifts, adopt-a-day sponsors, and multiple alumni association sponsors
- The front door will be painted the choice of school color by the top fundraising alumni association!

41% said that this was their first alumni event.
100% said they were able to interact with graduates they had never met before.
