Kent County Habitat for Humanity is excited to announce that we are now accepting volunteer registrations online through a free service known as VolunteerHub, which is built specifically for Habitat affiliates.
How to sign up:
Click here to go to the Kent County Habitat VolunteerNow site. Volunteers are required to create a user account and password and accept Habitat's Release and Waiver of Liability (found here) before signing up for a build.
Do I have to sign up?
Yes, we ask that you sign up. We may be working on several sites on any given day and by having people sign up in advance we are better able to balance the number of volunteers at each site. If you wake up in the morning and decide that you want to volunteer; simply call Joni Jessup at 616.764.2431 x224 and she will direct you to the site where you are needed most.
Will I receive a confirmation?
Yes; once you have completed your registration and then sign up for the date(s) you want, you will receive a confirmation via email. This confirmation will provide directions to the site and basic information about what to wear and what to bring.
