Calling Veterans, Veteran Families & Volunteers!

In 2011 Habitat for Humanity of Kent County will be teaming up with veterans, veteran families and community organizations for West Michigan's first Habitat for Humanity Veterans Build. Here's how you can be involved:

Apply for Homeownership

To qualify to own this affordable, LEED Certified home (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) with a 0% interest mortgage, applicant families must:

Veterans, Veteran families and other community members are encouraged to apply, including those with needs for adaptive housing. If you wish to learn more, contact Miriam Reyes @(616) 588-5235or email Homeownership@HabitatKent.org

 DISABLED VETERANS HOME REPAIR PROGRAM (NRI)

Habitat for Humanity would like to offer disabled Veteran Homeowners the opportunity to receive financial support in making needed accessibility modifications to owner-occupied homes. This is a program sponsored by State Farm. Please contact Jake at jignatoski@habitatkent.org
