310 Indiana NW (GRPS)

This "Super Energy Efficient" home was built by students from the Grand Rapids Public Schools Academy of Design & Construction. Our new Genesis home plan, designed by Eric Hughes with Image Design LLC, features the most energy efficient design we've ever built and offers a tremendous opportunity for students to learn cutting-edge green building and design. 310 Indiana was also featured in the Spring Parade of Homes in Spring of 2011.

310 Indiana NW has attained the coveted LEED for Homes Platinum certification.

310 Indiana NW has achieved LEED for Homes Platinum. Since 2007 Habitat for Humanity of Kent County has built and rehabbed 100% LEED for Homes Certified homes. That adds up to 68 homes (and counting)!

LEED for Homes is a voluntary rating system created by the US Green Building Council (USGBC) that promotes the design and construction of high-performance green homes, including affordable housing, mass-production homes, custom designs, stand-alone single-family homes, duplexes and townhouses, suburban and urban apartments and condominiums and lofts in historic buildings.
