A Natural Partnership
 
·         Since 2004 students in Kent County have built nearly 30 homes in partnership with Habitat!
·         Students from area construction programs gain hands-on green construction experience in a service learning setting
·         Habitat selects the home buyer family
·         Students work alongside the family on site
·         Habitat plans the project, schedules, and has the site ready for workers
·         Fundraising is done in partnership to pay for materials, supervision and planning
·         Often the school supplies on site supervision
·         All Habitat’s new homes and gut rehabs are LEED certified, so students learn advanced building science
·         Educational partners schools:
